Re: Testy Area 51
Another Testy first - posting an entire film in a thread! If only it were something more worthy Ray like um Tinto Brass fabulous epic Caligula or Paul Verhoeven's critically acclaimed masterpiece Showgirls.

Re: Testy Area 51
We had snow yesterday. I know that may not sound like much to a lot of you out there, but it's a big thing when it snows here, and before the end of November yet. Up in the Panhandle they get a lot of it, but here is a different story.

Re: Testy Area 51
I just shoveled 8 inches of snow and 2 of ice off the ol' drive. My BACK!
Been working alot, but now i am off for 3 days. I have a lot of movies to watch. Superman, and the Donner cut among others. Also have some Perry Mason, Columbo and Tom Baker Dr. Who to watch.

Re: Testy Area 51
I bought Equilibrium Russell, loved it, very underrated I thought. But that screenshot fooled me completely, I really thought it was from some HK flick.
The colorful Ultraviolet, by the same director, also featured gun-kata fight sequences but was nowhere as good, though it had the benefit of starring the gorgeous Milla Jovovich and her scrumptious rear end.

Re: Testy Area 51
Ray posting that film here got me thinking what other movies are freely available to view over the internet. Google Video seems to have a whole bunch of lengthy documentaries and public domain movies on show. Various editions of Romero's Night of the Living Dead are on there -

Even Frank Capra's It's a Wonderful Life, the entire movie available to watch or download, with chapters too -
http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?...uration%3Along
Hmmm the classic martial arts movie The Prodigal Son is on there -

I can't see a way of linking Google Videos via media tags though.

Re: Testy Area 51
As usual nice shots Steve. Looks like I'll have to get this at some point.
The OAR for this is listed as 2.76:1 according to IMDB.

Re: Testy Area 51
2.76? Wow. And how wide was Ben-Hur? That looked pretty thin too. Looking at our signature shots gives you a better impression of how wide the aspect ratio is, now that's what you call Widescreen! And looks like it's time I got a bigger screen.
Mutiny on the Bounty trivia: Marlon Brando married his beautiful leading lady Tarita, she became his third wife, his second wife Movita had played a native girl in the 1935 Mutiny on the Bounty, whoa!
