Steve, totally fair but I do love foreign film too. You didn't "set me up" I wanted to go in there and poo. 
I meant the 1968 Planet of the Apes. I didn't really read the top100 list very well. So, I'm not sure which broke the top100. Burton's Apes was very interesting to look at for about 20 minutes. I loved the look; just couldn't get through it.

Zen and I seem to have pretty similar taste in movies, with notable exceptions including the gay midjets...and, apparently, Titanic, which I think has great effects but a stultifyingly bad script.

Dances with Wolves is exceptional and probably my favorite on the list.
Mary, no juxtapostion. If I was drunk I would use "drunk." Enhanced simply refers to the effect of various plants, herbs and psychoactive chemicals that might mysteriously make their way into my bloodstream.
Just think Timothy Leary with a kick-ass HT system. Only younger, alive, tattoos, piercings and fire-engine red hair.

Dances With Wolves was good wasn't it? It's been a while since I last saw it. It's one of those quiet pictures that I never think of to watch, but always enjoy when I do watch it. The extended version was pretty good to.

Well it seems that aside from Pirates 2 another film I was interested in opened this weekend, A Scanner Darkly.
Philip K Dick adaptations have a pretty good track record with me Blade Runner, Total Recall, Minority Report, but I think I'll wait to rent this one. I just can't get into the look of the film. The rotoscope technique doesn't bother me as much as the bleh quality of the animation. Would be way more interested had this been live action.
oh, Pirate chicks are wayyy hot.
