The Panny has been very highly reviewed, John. But I'm waffling right now. Don't even know if springing for yet another set is wise. But I want to buy one.

Hmmm so what weaponry if any does my fellow droogs have at home than?

I carry a two-inch Swiss Army knife with a small blade, nail file.screwdriver and scissors. Don't mess with me!

Split on whether to get the 47-inch Panny rear-projector or the Samsung direct-view.

Can I have the one you decide against, Jack?! :b All I can add is that my son (12-years-old, but an expert on what he likes) and I (44-years-old and while I have never owned a "nice" TV, I also know what I like ) recently went TV "shopping" and both decided the best set in the place was a Panasonic 40" Widescreen Rear Projection LCD HDTV Monitor Brand/Model: PAN PT40LC12. VERY impressive picture! And, there you have my comprehensive review!
Any of you guys/droogs got one of these at home?

There's Jessie the yodeling cowgirl. Bullseye, he's Woody's horse. Pete the old prospector. And, Woody, the man himself. Of course, it's time for Woody's RoundUp. He's the very best! He's the rootinest, tootinest cowboy in the wild, wild west!

Oh me me I do, only she doesn't have stars on her knickers. Nice bum though.
I just tucked Sandy in bed, um so to speak, and she's already sleeping the sleep of the undead, an earthquake couldn't wake her, and I'm sitting here typing this and watching bits of 'The Legend of Ron Jeremy' on Channel 4, great documentary, a true legend, he starred in 1600 porn movies!! And he's a short hairy fat git, but with a big dick! And that makes all the difference in the porn industry.

Does Size Matter? Go with the clearest sharpest picture Jack, I have a 32incher and Sandra is more than happy with it.

Both new servers are up and running!
Everyone, notice how freaking fast the boards are! Really, my iMac seems like it's on a high-speed connection. Simply amazing.
I'm deciding against the Samsung. Some experienced calibrationists answered my question about its grayscale accuracy. It was all I needed to know. Going for either a Toshiba direct-view or a Panny rear-projector.
My mind is half made up.

You are really lucky too. I lost mine a long time ago and I have yet to find it.

Yes. I am very fortunate in that regard (this is that my wife has one of those). But, alas, like Steve mine doesn't come with the Stars and Stripes on it either and asking her to wear one of those would get in return the "look that kills" that all women have in their bag o tricks.

Mmmm nice. We had the stars and now the stripes. Maybe we should rename testy, call it 'totty', or maybe 'botty', or even 'titty' or [STOP THAT IT'S SILLY!].

A teacher tells the class they are going to have a "Quizzicle". The students are confused and ask what a quizzicle is. The teacher says "They're what I call small quizzes". A student raises his hand and ask "So then what do you call small tests?"

Is the Sharp not a good projector? I've seen them new for about $4000. Please feel free to redirect this post to the proper location.

And now from a completely different angle and backend.

Looks like two legs. Is there a backend there?
