And so it's back to reality...

Just returned from 7 days at Mammoth Mountain. The skies were blue, temps in the mid to high 50's and no wind. The skiing was absolutely perfect. An excellent vacation. I've got some pictures I'll post once I get them developed and scanned.

The sad start to our vacation, we had to put Angel down, our near 13 year old Dalmatian. We let her go Saturday the 5th, the day before we left.

Sometime's you reach what's real by making believe.

Sorry to hear about your dog Ron, and welcome back dude!

Willkommen Zen! Mein hovercraft ist full of eels!

"Gozer the Traveller will come in one of the pre-chosen forms. During the rectification of the Vuldronaii the Traveller came as a large and moving Torb. Then, during the third reconciliation of the last of the Meketrex supplicants they chose a new form for him, that of a giant Sloar. Many Shubs and Zuuls knew what it was to be roasted in the depths of the Sloar that day I can tell you."

As my sister said the other day, "The nouns you used in that last sentence have no semantic value!"

We seem to be crawling towards testy's 10k post landmark.

DVD players are getting cheaper and cheaper, I bought another one for just £48, another Yamada which is even more compatible than the previous one, when will it end? hmmm I wonder how much the first HD-DVD players will go for? I'm pretty sure in 3 or 4 years I'll be purchasing an HD-Yamada for £48.

eh? Zen? Bunches of... bananas, mangos?

Any of you guys computer savvy? My PC crashed and on reboot all the fonts are now gobbledygook, everything is still working fine except all the icons and lettering are now in hieroglyphics, it took a while finding the HTF, luckily typing is in English not Alien. I tried rebooting a number of times but no change, my fonts have turned to shit, help!

Hang on a sec Zen, I'm watching a sick Korean film called Old Boy, heard of it? Did that guy just eat a live octopus? eeee

erm where were we... nope didn't work were you using the force, Zen? Isn't there a font rebuilder or something that automatically fixes these things? Otherwise I'm stuck I'll just have to keep rebooting until it gets back to normal or find someone to have a look at it.

Woohoo! My fonts are back to normal! I managed to find Control Panel and after much fumbling about found Display and after some tweaking everythings back to normal, isn't that great? * crickets wheezing *
