Re: Test
There's Jessie the yodeling cowgirl. Bullseye, he's Woody's horse. Pete the old prospector. And, Woody, the man himself. Of course, it's time for Woody's RoundUp. He's the very best! He's the rootinest, tootinest cowboy in the wild, wild west!

Re: Test
I did the dirty deed today.
I closed escrow on my San Jose home Tuesday. I signed the contract to buy my house in Boise today. I guess a fool and his money are soon parted.
The house I bought in Boise is a brand-new house that's never been lived in. Yet it's a resale. The first owner ran into severe problems around the time he closed escrow, and had to put it back on the market having never even moved in. And it's the floorplan that I wanted. Because I had CASH, and could therefore close before the end of the month, I was able to pay $20K under current market value. And the market value is obvious...the subdivision has new houses under construction of the same floorplan. They want $20K more for these than I paid.

Re: Test
Should we start calling you King Midas?
Actually I just purchased a new-to-me used mini-van and struck a pretty good deal, too. Nothing as life-changing as a brand new home in an entirely different part of the world, mind you. But its always cool to be driving a new vehicle. (Not nearly as cool as Ron-P, but still cool.)

Re: Test
Ron-P is so smitten with the idea of a Mini that he's using that photo as his avatar over at HTT.
I am looking forward to having a 3 car garage. No more trying to cram two cars and all my other stuff into a regular garage. Think I should finish the floor like this?

Re: Test
If "finishing the floor" means the two vehicles along with the classic black & white tile, I'd say go for it, King!
Don't know if you are aware, but it's more than just "the idea" of a Mini-Cooper for Ron now. He's taken the plunge.

Re: Test
Here's a couple 'net images of my slammin' new ride:
THAT'S the color, too. My son likes to call it purple. When, in actuality, its maroon or "garnet" in the Dodge vernacular.

Barney the dinosaur purple?
If you find yourself a free MLS site, the number for my new digs is 98238892. The site at www.holland-realty.com/listing_search.php works.

Re: Test
That is SO wrong...for SO many reasons.
For one, I do NOT have a big green patch on my belly.

Dennis: Did you carry your e-mail with you in the move? I sent you an e-mail tonight and wasn't sure if you had retained your old e-mail.
