James:The sub was on sale for 699.I was going to buy it at that price so I told him that I would take it.When he scanned it,it showed 540.You should have seen the look on his face!I went the other day for something and I noticed that the CHT-12 was 699.Last year,I bought my H/K AVR510 at 1000...clearing out for the 520.I was watching the price on the 7200...it finally cleared out at 1000.I couldn't believe it.

For the time being this is my configuration for HT.

Main: Altec Lancing Home of the Theater's
Center: Polk Audio CS100
Rear: 2 pair Advent Marbles

have not concentrated on a sub yet due to the Altecs having 2 15" woofers in each cabnet.

Future configuration ?

Main: Altec Lancing Home of the Theater's
Center: Klipsch or older JBL's (late 70's early 80's)
Rear: Klipsch or older JBL's (late 70's early 80's)

Subwoofer: Dual 18" JBL's

Planing on Upgrading to a Pioneer 49TX receiver and a Sony ES DVD/SACD player.

An ancient thread .... I will add to it as I have run the speakers for 45 + days and feel that they are worth a mention at this point.
Also ran the three power cables for about the same time period and they are about out of their funk.

Sounds nice.
