Re: Speaker sensitivity question
Chuck:
OK, so I have one remaining room, a medium sized living area, to equip with sound and I have narrowed the choice down to two candidates (1) The Klipsch Heritage 3, and (2) the Series 3677 JBL. This will be a simple system, preferrably with only two speakers and a clean amp.
Klipsch Heresy III Black Ash (ea) - In Stock at OneCall.com
JBL Professional 3677 at Performance Audio
These speakers seem comparible to me in terms of price and performance. Apparently, the Klipsch specs are 65-20HZs, however.
Questions:
1. Would I need to run a powered sub in a Klipsch Heritage 3 (They would be more esthetically appealing to my wife than the JBL, I suppose)?
2. Is an amp like a McIntosh with THD .0005% any real advantage, or should I just use an existing Denon 105W @ .005% THD?
