Problem with Phillips 5.1 headphones
Note sure if this is the right place to post this question, but here goes:
A couple of years ago I bought the Phillips HD 1500 wireless surround sound headphones. Initially they worked fine. The headphones developed a problem and I sent them back to be replaced. At that time I was still in the warranty period. Now the base station has problems and the warranty period is long over. I know Phillips has discontinued these and not sure I want to go through the hassle of getting the station fixed through them... but are there any alternatives?
Also----given this product may well be a dead issue--- has anyone encountered a headphone system that accurately simulates the 5.1 surround sound experience? I live in a condo with sound sensitive neighbors, so I cannot really use my home theater except at the lowest volume. Any suggestions?
