B&W in-wall speakers- how do they compare?

Hello. I am about to buy a surround package for our family room (about 4000 cu ft.), and was looking at the B&W in wall speakers (CWM800, CWM Cinema, CWM650). I'm finding difficulty finding any reviews on them (outside, of course, from the manufacturer).
Is anyone familiar with this brand? Should I look at any other in-wall speaker systems?

Thanks,
Nanodoc

B&W is a terrific brand. I don't think I've ever heard anyone accuse B&W of making poor quality or poor sounding speakers . . . about the only complaint I've ever really heard is that you can do better for the money.

I've thoroughly enjoyed all the B&W speakers I've ever heard, but I haven't heard their in-wall speakers. You should also listen to Klipsch's in-wall speakers. They will sound very different, but both a very good manufacturers.

The toughest part of recommending in-walls is that there a very few, if any places where you can go listen to them. Then of course they will sound differently in your wall than they will in a store's wall but if you understand what you are giving up for the invisibility then the B&W's (or Klipsch's) are likely to make you very happy.

source technoligies makes awesome inwall speakers, i heard them a few months back and i was totally blown away, very high quality product but not cheap. check out index1
less costly way would be building your own from madisound or parts express, it's not that hard and you save yourself a ton of money. it just seems to me all inwall speakers are very expensive for what you get............
