Built in Klipsh Forte II
I use a pair of Forte IIs for my left and right front speakers. I am in the process of building a custom entertainment center. Since the Fortes have the passive in the rear, I know I can not build them in with no clearance around the sides or top. My question relates to how much clearance I need.
The entertainment center will span the whole length of a 17 foot wall. In order have access, there will be 16" between the back of the wall unit and the rear wall. There will be nothing behind the Fortes so they are completely open in the rear. How much room should I leave on the sides and top. Space is tight so the less space I leave without sacraficing sound the better. Any recommendations?
