Anybody try the Velodyne CHT Front Row System?

I am in the process of deciding on components for my first HT system, and these caught my eye. They are on closeout on Velodyne's website, but I haven't found anybody using them. I did find one review though.

I'm just curious if anybody has used, or has heard good things about these. They seem like a bargain at $199. I was thinking of these and a Hsu STF-1 sub. I am also thinking of just getting the Athena Micra 6 system. As far as receiever goes, I'll be getting a Panasonic XR55 or XR57. Any opinions?

I am also interested in this as an alternative to the Athena Micra 6 with a Panny XR55 receiver...

I was interested in those but after reading so much about the Ventriloquist VT-12 with an STF-2, I decided to give a try to the HSU. If I dont like the quality, change the sat to better ones and keep the STF-2.
