How do I connect a second sub?

I have two Yamaha YST-SW105 subwoofers that I would like to connect to my new Pioneer VSX-816-K. The 816 only has one Subwoofer Preout. I have that connected via an RCA cable to the sub's L/mono input. In my previous setup with a much older receiver I had the left mains going out of the receiver to the left input on the sub. Then I had wires going from the left output of the sub to the input of the speaker. I did the same thing with the right channel. However, I think there must be a better way. Any advice would be thoroughly appreciated.

Hi Dan,
Or get something called a Y plug (sorry don't have picts) - 1 male into 2 female and then you connect that to 2 rca's to your 2 sub inputs.

Regards.
