7.1 Paradigm Setup
I currently have monitor 5 v 2.5s and a cc370 and I need to get some surrounds. I am just finishing up my dedicated HT and its finaly time to start purchasing the final components. The room is 20x13. What I was planing on doing was using 2 adp 370s as side speakers and mini monitors as my rear speakers. There will be approx 14" from the side speaker to the front of the room and 6" to the back. Will this work for a dipole speaker? I also have a bit of a problem on one side there is going to be a built in media storage (think realy big book shelf). One of the side speakers will have to set at the edge of the shelf. I am thinking of building a little mount for it so it extends a little past the shelf.
I just want to know if you think this setup is a good idea and will the 370 work mounted as explained or should I just get 4 mini monitors.
