Found some decent speakers at goodwill...anyone else?

Well I found some "decent" speakers at goodwill. I am one of the lower-end home theater people around here and am always looking for a deal.

I found some Acoustic Studio Monitor 3311 speakers for $30.

Here's a link: http://www.speakerfactory.net/acou3311.htm

I needed some bigger front speakers so was like what the hell, it's only $30.

I did some research and it looks like these were sold everywhere by the infamous "whitevan" people.

Haven't really tested them out but they do sound good for my needs as far as I can tell, which is all that counts I suppose.

Anyone else besides me buy second-hand speakers?

There was one guy on here who stumbled across a McIntosh amp at Goodwill one time. What a great find.

$30 is OK for white van speakers I guess, at least it's more along the lines of what they are really worth, rather than them claiming $1K/pr and selling them for $200.

A McIntosh amp at goodwill?! Probably bought by the same guy who got a pair of Dunlavy speakers from his wife when their company was gonna toss 'em out.
