Hissing noise coming from speakers!??

Hey Everybody,

I have noticed a hissing noise coming from my speakers, now I'm not sure if this has been happening from day one but I am just curious as to what the possibilites could be. Could it be the speaker wire? It's the wire that came with the speakers. Could it be the Receiver? I didn't have much money at the time so I got a Panasonic SAHE75.

Now, before I get flamed big time I would just like to let you know that I didn't have much knowledge about home theatre stuff, especially speakers..........so with that being said the speakers are Bose (I know, I know) Acoustimass 6. Any suggestions?, other than the fact of getting new speakers (Which will be done in the future)
