Speaker placement problem for M&K 150 system

I am going with a M&K S-150 THX system. The problem is that my screen takes up such a large part of the front wall the front speakers will only be about 5" of the ground. The subwoofers come right up to the edge of the screen frame. Is this going to sound O.K.? I did go with the angled center to try to radiate the sound upward. Also, I have 1 350 sub and I'm going to buy one more. Should I put both subs in the front of the room or should I put one toward the middle of the room? Thank You in advance.

M&K actually said in their instructions the speakers can be on the floor, on the ceiling, as long as they point at the listening area.

For the sub, just do what you can do. You will need to play around.

Any way you can post some pictures of the speakers with 'common objects' on them (coke can) - I have never seen a picture of the speakers other than pretty ones taken in a studio.
