I'm looking to buy my parents a HTIB type system for Xmas. They're old and like their sonics medium level, so they'll never crank it up like me.
The $250 Panny HTIB
(REVIEW) has been rated rated in many reviews as the best HTIB under $500. This opinion seems to be pretty consistent across the board from my research.
Fortunately, I stumbled onto this site and found the Rocket Tykes.
While I'm sure the Tykes have their merit, in an absolute sonic performance sense, which HTIB system would be better for my parents small sized living room?
After all, the difference in price is $250 between the two systems.
BUT IF the Tykes
trash the Pannies, then I'd take the Tykes.......If they're rather similar where my parents or me really wouldn't notice
that big a difference, then I'd choose the Panny system and save the money.
Please help with any opinions. Thanks!
