Great pictures of some mouth-watering equipment for any "dyed in the wool" AV enthusiast.
But even I was shocked at the almost total disregard for all those cables on the diplay stands. Not to mention those huge, shiny aluminium fascias.
I can only presume that the industry really believes it's preaching to the converted. One glance at that lot from our "partners" would leave us in no doubt whatsoever. That we simply won't get away with it in a normal domestic room.
So 98% of the A/V industry isn't even listening to well over 50% of the population when it comes to system appearance!
No wonder Bose are doing so well with the slightly less obsessed members still clinging to our HT snowball!
Bose actually have the right idea! Except for hiding their tiny speakers in those silly (false) boxes for their demoes! They should throw away the false enclosures and sell the real ones for exactly what they are. Tiny & domestically acceptable! As long as they make sure they hide the cables!
Stealth AV anyone? :b
