I need some info on JBL E20s

I want to upgrade the front L&R speakers of my home theater. I have been looking at these http://www.jbl.com/home/products/pro...Id=NRE&sCatId= They will take the place of the front L&R speaker of my NSP1 set. Will these work well with my other speakers? also, Is the port on these speakers on the back?

The E20s would work fine and be very well timbre matcher to the rest of your NSP1 set. A better use of your money, however, would probably be a pair of N26s or if size allows N28s. They're readily available online for under $125ish and $150ish a pair and would be perfectly timbre matched and have greater extension then the E20s.

The E20's have the port on the back like you thought. The E20's can be had for less then $100 for the pair. The mark up on electronics is huge, When I made the package deal at a local store here I got at LEAST 40% off MSRP.

I'm not a big fan of the the E20's, but as always sound is subjective.

I would look at the s series from JBL to tell you the truth.
