I have an opportunity to buy a set from my uncle for $200 but I don't know anything about them. I tried searching the net but was unable to find anything except some upgrade info. My uncle said he paid a lot for them years ago. They are in good condition and sound good. He did mention that I would need to add an amp since my yamaha HTR-5660 isn't enough. If I do buy them would I need a 2ch amp just to push these speakers? I was reading my manual and I figured I could hook the amp to the inputs for the main speakers and wire the speakers into the amp. Is this correct? Sorry for the stupid question but I'm still in the learning process. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks!
