JBL NSP1II and Atlantic Technology T70PBM??

I am about to pull the trigger and buy a set of JBL NSP1II from buy.com and either an Atlantic Technology T70PBM sub or a DAYTON 10" SUBWOOFER. Which do you recommend?

Receiver- Kenwood 6070 (100 per channel)

Room- Big family rm 20x16 with 20ft ceiling.

I am upgrading from Cerwin Vegas because my boss (wife) wants smaller sat speakers and my Cerwin Vegas will be going to my rec room in the basement.

With a tight budget ($400) would this be a decent setup? Would the small sat be enough for the big room?

Thanks
Eric

The NSP1 speakers are really great for the price they're available at. From the specs it looks like either sub will do a good job for you. More people on the forum have experience w/ the Dayton subs so they can give you some input there. You may want to consider the Sony WM40 or WM500 sub too.

Keep in mind that the Atlantic Technology sub is not ported while the Dayton sub is. The Dayton might be a better fit for the size of your room.
