Paradigm pricing

Does anyone know of a good deal in Canada on Studio 100's, a 570, 4 ADP's - all v.3's, and a PW2200? If so, where? I am looking at buying immediately and would like to see what the best deal is that I can be offered.

Whereabouts in Canada, exactly? It's quite the large mass of land. For near the Windsor area, I've dealt with LiveWire Audio, and suggest them to anybody in this area. Ask for Bob...and if you buy something, tell em Joe Hsu referred you.

There are several Paradigm dealers in Alberta. Three alone in Calgary. You should contact one of them. There's a dealer locator on the Paradigm site.

I've heard the guys at General Audio give fairly reasonable deals on Paradigm products. Sounds of Music, the place I deal with regularly are great to deal with as well. They given me of great deals on B&W speakers, but I don't know how well they discount their Paradigm speakers since I don't buy Paradigm.

From my experiences I have found that Paradigm dealers will give you about 10-15% off and even more if you buy a lot of speakers.

Hi:

PW2200 v. 3?? I thought they just came out with version 2? I maybe wrong though. I am in Ontario and my local Paradigm quoted me $1049 for the PW2200v2. He said he would take my PDR 10 on a trade plus $750 for the PW2200. I think this would be a good deal?? (any comments). I know the MSRP on the PW2200 went up because Paradigm introduced the PW2100 (PW with 10 inch driver) and it's MSRP is last years PW2200 price. Anyway FYI here are some prices I got from Kromer Radio in Toronto Ontario:

PDR10 $429.00
PDR12 $589.00
PS1200 $769.00
PW2200 $1049.00

I believe these are all MSRPs.

Cheers..John

PS: all the above prices are in Canadian funds

John

Graham,
I believe that MSRP CDN for the pw2200 is 1090 so you aren't getting a great deal. See if they will go lower, I was quoted 1000 for the pw2200 about a month ago.

GrahamJW,

My local dealer had it priced $1050. On sale it was $950. I picked up a PW2100 for 23% or retail($850 retail, $655 discounted). Let me tell you the PW2100 is a monster. Fills my room with ease. If I had gotten the PW2200 then it would have been $809 discounted. So your almost better to keep the PDR-10 and use it for your rears. Where are you located?
