Connecting a line subwoofer to a 2-channel amp
Hello all,
I use a Roksan Kandy integrated amplifier, with Dynaudio LR120+ speakers... The Roksan has the obvious speakers outputs, plus the preamp output (RCA).
I have gotten a Pioneer subwoofer, which has only one line imput. I contacted my technician, and he told me I would not be able to connect properly the subwoofer, if it didn't have proper speaker cables. Meaning, only the line imput would not be able to connect to this setup.
I was wondering if he's wrong, if I can connect my subwoofer to the Roksan thru the preamp RCA to the line imput (RCA-Line cable). Will I be able to do this?
And how about to "activate" the preamp properties?
