You can design a roller coaster using basic mathematics and physics but you will never really know what its like until you take it for a ride.

While I think that this analogy is inherently flawed with regard to the subject at hand, I'll defer to your amusement park experience and accept it as far as roller coaster design/use is concerned.

Settle it with a thumbwar, best of 3.

I think Dan Wiggins is one of the more insightful people on these various audio forums. Let's backoff on him.

I'm with Ned, let the thumb war begin!

I've known Dan Wiggins for many years, and a big head is never something I have been able to attribute to him. He's always been extremely helpful without asking a thing in return for all his time. He and Dave have always been straight up guys and give you a wealth of useful information not found anywhere else in the DIY community.

Now go argue with somebody on your own level like Tom V or Dan W.

I'm afraid that Tom and Dan will be as insulted by that as I am flattered.

I am not going to argue subwoofers with you because its stupid, subwoofer building is pretty basic stuff anyways...why dont you step up to a speaker designing or something like Patrick Sun has? Or do you just like remaining the king of the newbies?

Definitely the latter. You know, "big fish, little pond"...

I put all the data on the list in a much more orgainzed format, I hope you find it easier to read. Instead of going back to the original post here's a link to see what it looks like. If you want to compare the looks to the old list I moved it to here.

I'm not done putting everything in but it has everything the old list has.

Thats great frank.

I could never understand nor bother to understand the original format........ wans't intuitive to understand at one glance.

The spreadsheet format is clearer and easily understood at a glance. Well done.

Ditto, Frank. Great work. Too bad the same bandwidth and octave spacing isn't used for all his sub testing.

But your spreadsheet fixes that with the 25-50Hz average listed whenever possible for every category. Nice!

Very nice job Frank. What a improvement over the former also. As you know I like to use this list for a resource and you have just made it all the more (a very useful tool).

I thought I saw the Earthquake Supernova 15 and 12 on this list somewhere. Was I looking at someone else's measurement?

Anyhow, great job Frank.

I haven't seen any TN data for Earthquake subs, it must have been something else you were looking at.

I'm glad everyone appreciates the reworking of the list because it sure did take some time to get all organized.
