I've got 'em . That's why I want to pick up the rest . You do need to get Onegai Teacher, and watch the Rahxephon movie and Haibane-Renmei .
It's tight for me, too. I've got a backlog of about 12 disks right now, plus most of The West Wing season 2.
PM your email address, and I'll send you my current (as of Tuesday) list.
John.

Wait - did I send it to you last year? or did you get it on your own? I can't remember at all.
I think I sent you a pm. If you haven't gotten it you can send it to wjpark01@optonline.net or wpark@elliottmgmt.com
I am patiently awaiting my Inu Yasha Season 1, Inu Yasha Movie, Tsukikage Ran 2/4, Star Trek VI Undiscovered Country CE, and House of Sand and fog to get to me.

[Checkov voice]Email away![/Checkov voice] I got bounced from your second address; apparently because it either had a high level of profanity, or I used phrases commonly used by spammers . Anyway, it looks like it made it to your first address. I need to start working on Inu Yasha myself. I've got the first season, but I think I'll wait until the new year to pick up the second season, and then do it all at once.

Stay safe, man. Anime, dvds, tvs etc can all be replaced with money and in time. Your life (or lives of you and your loved ones can't).
Sending good vibes towards you and all in FL.

Of course, he's still in his FFXI world
|
Stacey talked me into getting FFXI with our $50 BB gift card from the honeymoon cruise (thanks Travelocity!) about 2 months back. But my Radeon 8500 is on the blip - it overheats and produces some very very very strange artifacts. I will probably turn on the account again for a while to get a better feel for it (I had a lvl 6 black mage) when I get my new videocard.
Watching for a deal on a Radeon 9800pro...
I'll chime in when I'm playing FFXI again.
Matheson- "There are probably some who'll say that by doing this, we are interfering with their culture."
Gideon - "Probably. Screw them."

I watched a couple of new disks this evening. The first was Kiddy Grade vol. 6. For those who are sitting on the fence on this one, run out and get it. It starts out a little average, but gets better as it goes along. Not to mention it's got another cliffhanger at the end of ep. 18. 10/19 is too far away. I also watched Ai Yori Aoshi ~Enishi~ vol. 2. Fun, but not at the level of the first season. There's a trailer for Paranoia Agent on the disk . I'm really looking forward to that.

No! Say it ain't so! Not another series!
*weeps as he adds kiddy grade to the list of series to get that never seems to end for him....*
*ahem*
Well, last nite, I managed to finish Tsukikage Ran. I saw discs 2-4, and as fitting the kind of genre this is, the series did not have a definitive end. That said, it was a very entertaining romp with a unique Duo of characters, and was quite entertaining. I'd say it rates a B- for it's ability to bring a female sake swilling heroine and here annoying but good hearted sidekick and introducing a genre not really seen here... If none of those things I mentioned interest you, the series is probably not worth your money.
I also started Inu Yasha Season 1 Collection by rewatching two and a half eps of season one (note: I have discs 1-3). I was pleased by the higher episode count (at least 5 per disc, from what I remember from the insert). A fun entertaining series, rating a B for me at least, due to the fact that it is a Rumiko Takahashi work.

I know, I know . I'm in the same boat, though. I just knocked off two series, and added another one ( Paranoia Agent). I think the lowest number of series I've had on my 'big list' has been 24. I've been doing pretty well so far this year on finishing series, though. I'm up to 32 as of Tuesday (87 total). I don't think I'll get to 100 until next year, but I'll probably be very close. Of my current series, Last Exile, Kiddy Grade, and Ai Yori Aoshi ~Enishi~ will all finish this year. Azumanga Daioh will probably also finish. Saiyuki is all out, so that'll be a priority to finish, probably in November. I'll probably start collecting 1-2 of the following new series this year:
Burn Up Scramble
Chrono Crusade
Ikki Tousen
Kaze no Yojimbo
Paranoia Agent
Please Twins
Tsukihime
In order to start clearing off my 'big list', I'm going to shift my focus to series that are completely or mostly out, and away from starting series as soon as the first disk comes out.
John.
