Haven't had time to play FFXI lately. Been really super busy... but I did order the next Utena box which shipped with a TON of other crap so I'm going to be so buried in anime that I will have to move to a bigger apartment. LOL Oh well. I have been hauling Azumanga Diaoh around with me everywhere I go but haven't watched it yet. Its joined me at work and at a few friends houses but no one was really interested in it. Oh well.

Really? I can't wait for the second volume of Azumanga to come out! I love Oska (sp?)
7 days and counting till Dave and I leave so...I've got a lot of anime watching to catch up on!
I've got my mom putting my paycheck in the bank while I'm gone...can't have my anime not shipping out when it should while I'm gone!

Well, Innocence didn't win at Cannes. That new Michael Moore "documentary" was the winner.
Also, Samurai Champloo is now available in a fansubbed format! Look for it at your favorite sources.

Stacey:
I agree, Osaka is great. I really can't wait until the next volume comes out.
All:
I got a bunch of anime watched today. I started off with the May 2004 NewType disk. I've decided to start collecting Kaleido Star, since I really liked the first episode that was included on the disk. Also on the disk was a trailer for Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. This afternoon & Evening, I rewatched vols. 5-7 of GTO and watched vol. 6 of Argentosoma. My hat's off to Kong for recommending this one. I really enjoyed it, and it wasn't the usual mecha-type show. The last two disks really made the series. I'm giving this one a 'B+'. Highly recommended.
John.

I just finished watching Kino's Journey Vol 3.
Dave is going to kill me cause I said I'd only watch one eps. but I'm at work and I'm bored!!! I'll re-watch them again, I'm sure.
Anyways, for anyone who hasn't yet picked up this series, I highly highly recommend it, it's my favorite since RahXephon easily. May quite possibly be my favorite series of this year!
John: Kaledio Star is really addicting! It's so cute!

I just checked my list of series that I'm collecting, or will be collecting - 54. I also added a number of other series lately, including Kaze no Yojimbo, Saiyuki, and Stratos 4. Now if only I could win a million dollars... .
All:
I finished up rewatching GTO this afternoon with vols. 8-10. For those who haven't seen this show yet, pick it up as soon as you can. 'A-' - Highly recommended.

Is there any word on the second GTO box set? I don't want to pick up the ind. disks since I've already got the first box....?
John: Have you watched Kaze yet? I had that on my list to buy but cancelled it for money (I's poor!) Is it something I should pick up when we get back?

Stacey_B: I'd like a boxset for GTO 6-10 as well.
Hmm - instead of FFXI, I ended up watching some Anime this weekend. After messing with Dynasty Warrior 2 for the past few nites and Saturday (See P.S. below as to why I am still playing this PS2 launch game), I ended up with watching anime *beginning at 1 am Saturday*. Finished Angelic Layer #6 (Fun, fun series, with cute girls, good action.) Finished the remaining 3 discs in City Hunter Season 2 Collection 1, and started City Hunter Season 2 Collection 2. Once I get through season 2, this series won't be as bad to finish. If I am not mistaken, the first two seasons have at least 120+ episodes. The third and fourth seasons have a lot less.
That said, it looks like I have MORE series to collect, it seems. Argentosoma, Kino's Journey, Azudaioh (dang it - forgot to get this) among those I am already collecting.
P.S.: I am messing with it since I foolishly deleted the save file with almost all the characters unlocked a while back.

I hope the second GTO boxset comes with a figure on Onizuka (ala the t-shirt in the first box)... that would rule!

Not yet, but I'll probably start picking it up in June. Except for June 1st, where I'll be getting some stuff for my wife, and June 15th, where I'll be making a big AsianDB order, June is pretty much set for new anime DVDs. I finished off Saber Marionette J this weekend. It is a decent enough series, but some of the filler in the middle really started annoying me with all the fights over Otaru. The show is better when it gets away from the "harem" aspects and everyone is working together.
