If you like it, make sure to hurry and get the first boxset, as it's limited.

I meant I got the manga.
Saikano? I'll have to read about it.

John,
Have you watched any PmK??? It's a pretty good show, but the manga is even better. I hope they do a good job with the R1 dvd presentation. I'd love to go to the dai concert, anyone else going??

Nope, and I haven't really heard very much in the way of reviews. Maybe Rob or Kong can comment on it. It's going to be a light week for me, DVD-wise. I'll be picking up the Mahoromatic Summer Special, and hopefully the last volume of Argentosoma.
I'm still working on the HTF Anime Challenge 2K4. I watched volume 1 of GTO last night.

Well, my expedition to get DVDs didn't quite go the way I wanted. I picked up Argentosoma vol. 6, and Tokyo Godfathers. I also picked up the May 2004 issue of NewType. The store I visited didn't have the Mahoromatic Summer Special in yet, so I'll wait until next week, when I make an order from DDD.

Anime binge! Been feeling "poopy" the past few days and used that as an excuse to dive into some anime.
First up, Slayers Premium, which alot of people seem to love or hate, I'm kinda "eh". I love Slayers, and am a fan of the dubs, but I hate it when they switch voice actors (actresses) on me! Gourry I got used to pretty quick, similiar to the guy on the series, but Xellos was abysmal. Thankfully he gets just a cameo (why did they even bother? Geez). The new character designs are kind of "bleh" too in a few cases, especially Zelgadis. The skin strip in front of the eye and the huge black outline around it is just "eech". The story was so-so too, silly-stupid but not as good as the three eps on the Slayers Excellent OVAs.
Revolutionary Girl Utena was superb though. I have already plowed through the Rose Collection and have the next set ordered. I LOVE this. Its currently ranking up there with my other favs, Fruits Basket and Chobits but for entirely different reasons. Its so messed up that I love it. Addicting as hell too, 13 eps in two days...
Anime Collecting: Inu Yasha, Scrapped Princess
Last Purchases: Kaliedo Star Amazing Collection, Mezzo DC, Mezzo Thinpak, Neon Genesis Evangelion Platinum thinpak, Inu Yasha S2, Angelic Layer, Super Gals! Ironclad Collection, My Dear Marie

The next Linkin Park music video to be released, for the song "Breaking the Habit" from Meteora album, will be composed entirely of anime-style animation. What's more, TOKYOPOP informs us that the DVD release of the video will include a "mini-music-manga" that they have produced for Linkin Park.
According to Linkin Park guitarist Brad Delson, the director of the video (DJ Joseph Hahn) "worked hand-in-hand with the animators who worked on 'Kill Bill.'" Production I.G is the company that did the animation for Kill Bill, unfortunately we have not yet been able to confirm that they are the company that animated the music video...

DAMMIT!!! I'd like this idea if it wasn't Linkin Park, because they suck. Yeah, they used to be good, but then you realize that every song they do sounds the same. I'll probably see the video on TV eventually, but I'm not gonna make a big effort to see it.
At least Fear Factory still plans on releasing that music video for Archetype that was done in anime! I'm sure that video will be at least 10 times better than the Linkin Park video!

Nothing wrong with that. AC/DC has been getting away with that for years.
Course, your musical opinion is now in question, since you actually think St. Anger is good.
Will be interesting to see, but I probably never will, since I don't watch MTV anymore.

Tony:
I totally disagree with you about the new Linkin Park. I think their songs have improved. I'm looking forward to seeing the video now. It will probably be a while, though, since my MTV viewing is practically nil.

I know! I really hate admitting to thinking that it is actually good. It just takes a lot of time for it to grow on you. I hated the first time also, but after about 5 listens to the album, it really started to sink in and sound good. Sure, it's nowhere near as good as Black Album and before, but it's so hard to beat those. But you gotta admit that it's a hell of a lot better than Load, Reload, and most other "metal" that's popular on the radio these days. Another thing, I really got into Metallica through St. Anger! :b
And just to annoy you, Jason... CLANG CLANG CLANG CLANG CLANK CLANK CLANG CLANG! FRAN TIC TIC TIC TIC TIC TIC TOCK. YA FLUSH IT OUT!!
Jason, you really want me to put my music opinion on the line? OK, then I'll say this, the album L.D. 50 by Mudvayne absolutely rocks!!! :b :p) Seriously.
I forgot to mention that my music opinion has always been in question here, because I don't like J-Pop!!!
