Who wants a recipe of ramen noodles and pork? It's a favorite with my friends.

Gimme. Ramen is pretty much all I eat since I'm coming to the end of the school year... heheheh.

I going to a lecture being held by Homestar Runner ( www.homestarrunner.com) at my school today. EVERYBODY TO THE LIMIT!!
Otherwise tonight we're going to see The Girl Next Door which my arch-nemesis Matthew Chmiel has dubbed as "the best film of the year".
I watched the first 2 discs of Maison Ikkoku last night (thanks Stacey! ), GREAT stuff. Am I the only one who sees all the stuff Love Hina stole from this show along with MUCH better writing?
I mean, for godsakes, it's practically the same damn show with the lovely Kyoko-chan in the role of manager instead of the ronin... Keitaro in Love Hina or Godai in Ikkoku

Huh... that's true. I never would have thought about that. Of course, I tend to have a hard time not thinking of Godai as a sightly more respectable Ataru.

Who was the one who had both seasons of The Big O? Would that person mind pming me I have some questions about the second season plotline. Thanks in advance.
I picked up Angelic Layer 2-5 the other day and am loving this show. I have become just another CLAMP Wh0r3... except for CCS which is just too damned expensive.

Michael- the second season of Big O isn't out yet, at least not in R1 it isn't.
I just picked up the old Bubblegum Crisis 2032 Megaseries box for like $30. I'm pretty sure this was one of the first anime releases on R1 DVD.
Animeigo appeared to do a decent job on with the English dub. Interestingly, Katey Sagal (Married w/Children, Futurama, 8 Simple Rules) is one of the actors, although under a different name. Also, they used The Replicants (a rather well known '80s cover band) to do the English music.
If you can find this one for cheap, pick it up, it's well worth it. Old series, yes, but good story drives it.
I also picked up the MTV Spider-Man series, and thought it was pretty good. It's cell shaded, and seems heavily anime influenced. It's a really nice anamorphic DVD. It has very high production value, although the voice acting could have been better. Russian villians with no accents? Come on...

Is it true Big O Season 2 was made because us US people liked it so much?
(I have never seen a whole episode... Reminds me of Batman in animation Style)

Yes. Big O has a big fan base. I am looking forward to the S2 box.
Good show, at least the first season.
