If fav "forgotten" tv was on DVD, what would you do?
Ok. The Title got a little long there, but if your favorite "forgotten," long-lost tv show ever made it out on DVD, what would you do?
For example, if Quark ever made it out, I would buy tv copies and give them to some friends and say, "Here, Culturely deprived friends. Do you enjoy Get Smart? Did you enjoy that sci-fi parody Spaceballs? or that British satire Red Dwarf? Do you enjoy the comic genius of Buck Henry? Who's that you say? Only one of the great comic minds of our geneation. He co-created Get Smart. He guest hosted Saturday Night Live in the Seventies (back when it was good). He was in the Graduate. . .Doing something I believe. Well anyway. Here is your copy of this great classic (but forgotten) program that parodied both Star Trek and Star Wars. It starred Richard Benjamin as a Captain Kirk Wanna-Be, with two beautiful twins (sigh!) playing the ships pilot and her clone. The crew also included a walking plant. . .named Ficus as Quark's science officer (Spock parody), and a cowardly robot named Andy, who could give Lost In Space's Dr. Smith a run for his money in the coward department.
Anyway, Here is your copy. Enjoy.
Better stop and get back to the question.
Ok. I would give copies of this forgotten tv show to some friends who might enjoy it. Expensive a bit. But with only 8 episodes I don't think it will run more than 20 dollars. What would you guys do?
