Burn Notice

SEASON ONE

Sexy, Action-Packed Drama Starring Jeffrey Donovan, Gabrielle Anwar,
Bruce Campbell and Emmy® Award-Winner Sharon Gless
Sizzles To DVD June 17th Featuring All 11 Episodes
Plus Commentaries, Gag Reel And More

CENTURY CITY, Calif. – Rogue spies and bikini-clad bombshells turn up the heat on the streets and beaches of luscious, sun-soaked Miami in the hot, action-packed original TV series “Burn Notice,” debuting on DVD June 17th from Fox Home Entertainment. After receiving his “burn notice” and thus effectively fired, professional spy Michael Westen returns to his hometown of Miami broke and determined to discover who burned him and why. Premiering this past summer on the USA Network to stellar ratings, “Burn Notice” Season One steams up the small screen with its sexy cast headed by Jeffrey Donovan (“Crossing Jordan,” Hitch) as the blacklisted spy and the stunning siren Gabrielle Anwar (“The Tudors,” Scent Of A Woman) as Fiona, the beautiful ex-IRA operative who coincidentally is Westen’s ex-girlfriend. The series also stars cult favorite Bruce Campbell (Bubba Ho Tep, Army Of Darkness) as Westen’s closest friend Sam, a washed-up military intelligence contact; and Emmyâ Award-winner Sharon Gless* (“Queer As Folk,” “Cagney & Lacey”) as Madeline, Westen’s hypochondriac mother.

Fully loaded with sly humor and putting a new twist on the procedural crime drama, “Burn Notice” is a fresh spin on the spy genre with plenty of precarious twists to keep you guessing and enough explosive action to keep you riveted! The “Burn Notice” Season One DVD set features all 11 episodes including the two-hour season finale plus bonus features such as cast/crew commentaries, gag reel, audition footage, character montages and more, will be available for a suggested retail price of $49.98 U.S. / $69.98 Canada.

Re: TCFHE Press Release: Burn Notice: Season One

This was my favorite new summer 2007 series (yep, ahead of MAD MEN, DAMAGES, and SAVING GRACE), and I'm eager to see these episodes again.

Re: TCFHE Press Release: Burn Notice: Season One

I really enjoyed "Burn Notice", which was surprising to me as I'm not much of a fan of Bruce Campbell (hated "The Adventures of Brisco County Jr.") and Sharon Gless (same with "Cagney & Lacey"), but they both really added to this series. It also has a great concept and I absolutely love the tip-of-the-hat to "MacGyver" (my favorite series). And the extras sound great.

As long as there's no issues with music and they keep the recaps at the beginning of each episode (I love those), I'll definitely be buying this.

Please help bring Supernatural star Jensen Ackles' unaired (and seven-episode produced) Fox series, "Still Life", to DVD. Vote at TVShowsOnDVD.com and/or snail mail a letter to Fox Home Entertainment below.

Please help bring Scott Rosenberg's small screen Beautiful Girls spin-off, "October Road", back for a third season. Go to the ABC.com message board to find out what fans are doing to save the show. Keep checking the October Road - season 2 premiere 11/22/07 thread here for continued updates. Fans have started an official campaign called "Pay October Road Forward". If you would like to participate, go here. Fans of Beautiful Girls will want to certainly check that link out.

A really great TV show. Fun and full of action.
And we get cast commentaries on all episodes, which is fantastic.

A MUST BUY for me.

I never got into this one, but my best friend kept telling me it was pretty good...I may end up FINALLY getting a NetFlix membership to rent this and see if it's worth owning.
