I've been meaning to post this for a couple weeks, but it always slipped my mind, until the bumping of the Cincinnati Reds thread reminded me about these.

The 7-disc Dodgers set is scheduled for release 3/25.

The 7-disc D-backs set is out 4/29.

Not bad! It'll be great to see the D-Backs coming from behind to stop the Yanks, but also to see the awesome extra inning Games 5 and 6 in New York.

Personally, as a fan of the more vintage era (relatively speaking) of baseball, I would like to see more 1970's and 1980's World Series sets. I already have the '75 Reds, '77 Yankees, '79 Pirates, '86 Mets, and '87 Twins sets, so I'll probably be in for the '88 Dodgers set too. But I haven't really been interested in any of the post 1990's sets that A&E has put out.

How about the '80's Phillies, '82 Cardinals, '84 Tigers, or '85 Royals series? Or maybe one of the Series won by those great 1970's A's teams? Or maybe the '70 Orioles? The Amazing Mets of '69? I know probably a lot of the videotapes of the early 70's World Series may no longer be around, but certainly the 1980's era stuff is still accessible.

I'm actually interested to see if any of the pre-game activities from the 01 WS are included. Remember, it was an... interesting time in New York with the games being played just a few miles from the WTC site.

Also interested to see how the 89 WS would be done with the interruption by the earthquake.
