New Some Recommendations
I need everyone's attention. Now that I've filled up nearly all of the gaps in my DVD library of Television Shows I need some new recommendations of television shows to purchase. I have too many to name but I'd love some recommendations from you guys ...
With over 200 boxed DVD sets and more on the way, I need some advice on new titles to pick up. Thanks for everyone's recommendations, in advance.

Re: New Some Recommendations
It's not out yet, but I'll recommend the recently announced "Early Edition".
The first season is strongly written and Kyle Chandler shows off how multi-faceted he his even before "Friday Night Lights". It's one of the rare shows that have universal appeal - whether you love/or collecting classic series or are a baby boomer. The demographics for this series are very wide. It was also critically-acclaimed in its first year, and was nominated for two Emmys; both for series composer W.G. Snuffy Walden. Also, Kyle won a Saturn Award for his performance as "Gary Hobson".
"Psych" is another series I'll recommend to you. A sold first season release and IMO the funniest series on network (or in this case cable) television.
Disney/Buena Vista/Miramax: Please put Beautiful Girls on Blu-ray with bonus features and the original theatrical trailer in 1080p, and an anamorphic re-release with bonus features and the original theatrical trailer day-and-date on DVD. Thanks!
A massive letter-writing campaign to ABC is being timed each Thursday. October Road co-creator/ Beautiful Girls screenwriter Scott Rosenberg has recently told fans on the ABC.com message board to "fight on." Got drumsticks? We're targeting for them to arrive on Monday, December 15th. Please help in the fight to bring his Beautiful Girls spin-off, October Road, back to the airwaves.

Re: New Some Recommendations
I enjoy every genre with the sole exception of Reality TV shows ... I think that those suck and I own not a single one, with the sole exception of The Osbournes.

Re: New Some Recommendations
How I Met Your Mother and 30 Rock are the two greatest sitcoms on air today. And if you don't already own Arrested Development, treat yourself to the greatest show of all time.

Re: New Some Recommendations
If you enjoy cop/detective shows, some good ones on DVD are Magnum P.I., Rockford Files, Hawaii Five-0, Streets of San Francisco, Hill Street Blues, and NYPD Blue.

Re: New Some Recommendations
Got every season Magnum P.I., Rockford Files, NYPD. Hill Streets and STreets don't interest me. No further seasons will be released is all.

Re: New Some Recommendations
TV Westerns:-
1)CHEYENNE-The Complete First Season.
2)Gunsmoke-Season 1.
3)The Big Valley-Season1.
4)The Life and Legend Of Wyatt Earp (Summary)
5)Wanted Dead Or Alive-Season 1,2 and 3.
6)Jim Bowie-The Complete Collection Season 1 and 2.
They are all "Adult Westerns" and they all rated very highly, when they were originally released.
You can't go wrong with those shows,as they still hold up very well for today's entertainment.

Re: New Some Recommendations
Of current shows, I think BONES and THE CLOSER are both top notch.
The three seasons of VERONICA MARS are also well worth watching if you aren't familiar with it.

Matt, I have to agree with you on Bones. It's my favourite show ...
