which were all due for release on the 18th by Timeless Media ?

My Amazon order for TALL MAN, RIVERBOAT, and THE RESTLESS GUN is still listing 9/18 as the ship date, but CHECKMATE, CIMARRON CITY, and LAREDO is carrying a estimated ship date of 10/18-11/1.

I spoke with someone at Timeless Media today and obtained the following info:

The release date was pushed back just a bit because of some last minute contract details that needed to be cleared up with NBC. It's not a problem, it just didn't get done in time for the September 18th release date. The new date (still somewhat tentative) is now October 9th, but it could be pushed back just a bit even then. However, these are coming soon according to my contact. I asked for individual episodes for each of the 6 releases, and received the following:

My thanks too, Gary, for obtaining these episode listings. This looks like a very nice series, with lots of rare titles, especially Restless Gun. Hopefully more follow ups as Timeless appears to be doing with Laredo. Would like to see Checkmate ep Slight Touch of Venom and I think someone (Elena?) was looking for the Elizabeth Montgomery episode: The Star System.

Excellent work Gary & thanks. I am up for all 6 of these. I accept they may not be the greatest quality as long as they are clean & uncut they will be as much as we can hope for.I can now dispose of some of my blurry old multi -gen video copies.

I think 'Laredo' has played US cable channels in the last decade, & looked nice. Perhaps Timeless would consider season sets of this one if they can get the prints. 'Cimarron City' did get a run here in the UK in the early days of satellite but the others I don't think have seen the light of day anywhere since their original showings. Glad to see that at least one DVD company has actually heard of them.

As you seem to have 'the ear' of Timeless perhaps you can tactfully suggest they don't follow their disconcerting practice of running one opening credit and leaving the rest off.
