Las Vegas: Season 4
I'm sure there are other titles that follow this format, but the first thing that came to mind when I saw the configuration of slimcases and discs was, "$"!
Slimcase #1
Disc 1: Episodes 1-4
Disc 2: Episodes 5-8
Slimcase #2
Disc 3: Episodes 9-12
Slimcase #3
Disc 4: Episodes 13-16
Why couldn't Disc 4 be included in Slimcase #2 with Disc 3??? So what if the set would be thinner than previous seasons? It was a short season.
Would one less slimcase make that much of a difference in price? $60 retail for 16 episodes? I wonder if music replacement is an issue (i.e., paying for original songs to appear).
As a consumer, I'm not looking at the business logic of these choices. I'm just looking for the biggest "bang" for my buck. And if that is a thinner set at a slightly lower price, then that's my idea of "bang" (consumer logic?).
I just finished Episode 4 and the show seemed to lose its footing. I gave up watching it on TV back in Season 1. I hope the remaining episodes get better, leading up to Season 5's big changes (starting on 9/28). How many episodes of Season 5 will there be???
