Hi there!

My name is Henrik. I've been a longtime reader of this board and decided to make my first post.

I noticed that on Amazon.com a few ER fans are worried about wether or not Season 10 is coming to DVD.

I would hate to see my collection stop at season 9. And having found out that WHV has a habit of discontinuing DVD releases midway through I began to share those concerns. Am I the only one? I did a search for ER on this forum and found nothing. Is there anyone here who is as worried as I am right now?

It is such a great show that deserves to have its full run on DVD. The uk releases are way faster. They're at Season 13 right now. Is it harder for WHV to get the music licenses for the region 1 releases?

Hi Henrik. I'm also an ER fan waiting for Season 10 (and 11-15) and I'm not particularly worried. The release pattern so far in the U.S. has been two seasons a year, one set in June (or thereabouts) and one in December or January. I expect to see S10 come out in two or three months. Of course, a studio could stop releasing a show at any time, so you should never assume the next season is definitely coming out, but it seems extremely unlikely that ER releases would be discontinued now after nine seasons.

Possibly, but it's more likely that it's because the UK doesn't wait for the bonus features to be created - the latter seasons are all bare-bones in the UK, IIRC.
