Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip: The Complete Series
Includes the Series’ Entire 22 Episodes and Bonus Material in a Six-Disc DVD Set

BURBANK, CA (September 6, 2007) – Consumers will experience all the drama that takes place behind the making of a popular television comedy sketch show with Warner Home Video’s (WHV) DVD release of Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip: The Complete Series on October 16, 2007. The DVD box set will feature the series’ entire 22 episodes on six discs as well as bonus material, including a new, behind-the-scenes featurette and commentary from series’ creator Aaron Sorkin (The West Wing) and producer Thomas Schlamme (The West Wing). The DVD set will be priced at $59.98 SRP.

What really goes on behind-the-scenes of a national late-night comedy sketch show? Emmy Award-winning producer and series’ creator Aaron Sorkin answers that question with this must-see, show-within-a-show, filled with engaging characters, ear-grabbing dialogue and a Hollywood hive of insider buzz.

Fast-paced, witty and intelligently written, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip captures all the backstage happenings at a fictional live sketch comedy show that is run by two likeable hotshots, head writer Matt Albie (Matthew Perry, Friends) and producer Danny Tripp (Bradley Whitford, The West Wing). The two are brought in to revive NBS-TV’s sagging flagship comedy series, where they share the workplace with an eclectic cast of characters, including their savvy boss and recently hired network president, Jordan McDeere (Amanda Peet, Syriana), Jack Rudolph (Steven Webber, Once and Again), chairman of NBS and Cal Shanley (Timothy Busfield, The West Wing), the show’s director. Also featured in the mix are some of the show’s talented actors, including Harriet Hays (Sarah Paulson, Deadwood), Tom Jeter (Nate Corddry, The Daily Show) and Simon Styles (D.L. Hughley). Each episode explores the lives and loves of, as well as the make-or-break creative pressures on the show’s staff.

“Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip is a bold, thought-provoking program that dives deeply into the world of television entertainment. It’s brought to us by gifted producers, Aaron Sorkin and Thomas Schlamme, who deliver a brilliantly-written and produced series,

which is topped off by a remarkable ensemble cast comprised of some of the most skillful actors on television today,” commented Rosemary Markson, WHV Vice President, TV and Special Interest Marketing. She added, “Anyone who enjoys outstanding television programming will appreciate owning this DVD set. From TV fans who missed the show’s initial broadcast, to those who just did not get enough, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip: The Complete Series makes for a great edition to anyone’s home entertainment collection.”

DVD bonus features include:

³ Audio Commentary on the pilot episode with creator Aaron Sorkin and executive producer Thomas Schlamme.

³ In Depth: The Evolution of ‘Studio 60’: A behind-the-scenes documentary about the making of Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip.
