Gilmore Girls Season 7??

Is there any word about a release date for the final Gilmore Girls set?

There's no official date but I'd guess that it'll be out in late August or September.

EDIT: Sorry, I was way off with that. If it was coming out in August or September, it would have been announced by now. Warners is probably waiting until October or November since there's no new season for the DVD to cross promote.

Season Seven and the series set are coming out on November 13.

That's later than I was hoping. The complete series set looks nice, but I can't justify getting that after buying six seasons already. Would like to see the books with the episode guide and Gilmore-isms included in the 7th season box, but I don't think it will happen.

The complete series looks very tempting. I'm hoping for a huge discount after several months as there were for the Alias and Buffy series.

Yeah, that's probably the only way I would pick it up. It is a neat package though. More than anything, I'm happy that there's no exclusive bonus disc in the series set.

I'm pleased we finally have a date for S7 - I was getting a bit worried when we got through June without an announcement. I might sell off the earlier seasons and get that complete boxset actually, it looks pretty cool.
