A technical question about the music in "Hullabaloo"...

...since I haven't seen enough of the shows to be able to judge:

Generally speaking, were the performances live, lipsynched or just like "Shindig!" (live vocal over pre-recorded backing tracks)?

Thanks for any help, folks!

Hullabaloo seemed to be all pre-recorded. Shindig did have some all live performances. It wasn't all live vocals with taped backing track.

After having had a chance to see a wider range of clips, it appears that generally, the show went the "Shindig!" route, with the use of wholly-live performances, or live vocals over pre-recorded backing tracks.

Strangely, most of the out-an-out lipsynching came from the British Invasion groups... I would imagine because their production style made more use of overdubbed and "doubled" lead vocals.
