“One of the season’s best and fastest-moving new dramas” –Washington Post

IT TAKES A PREDATOR TO PUT ONE AWAY!

SHARK

SEASON ONE

Emmy® Award-Winner James Woods Stars In The Cutthroat Courtroom Drama
Arriving On DVD October 2 >From Fox Home Entertainment

CENTURY CITY, Calif. – Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the courthouse…Fox Home Entertainment presents the dramatic first season of one of last fall’s surprise television hits when “Shark” Season One comes to DVD October 2nd. Three-time Emmyâ* winner James Woods (Be Cool, Casino) stars as top-notch celebrity defense attorney Sebastian Stark aka “Shark,” a nickname earned through his merciless style of practicing law. When a simple twist of fate forces him to question his methods, Stark finds himself on the opposing team, working as a prosecutor for the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office and their newly formed High Profile Crime Unit. With his team of young lawyers by his side, Stark attempts to redeem himself, using his cutthroat methods and raw tenacity to ultimately win the case. One of the hottest new TV shows from last season averaging over 14 million viewers each week and #1 in it’s time period among male viewers, “Shark” features outstanding supporting performances from Jeri Ryan (“Star Trek: Voyager,” “Boston Public”), Danielle Panabaker (Sky High), Samuel Page (“American Dreams”), Sophina Brown (“Chapelle’s Show”), Alexis Cruz (“Touched By An Angel”) and Sarah Carter (Pledge This!, Skinwalkers). The “Shark” Season One six-disc DVD set includes all 22 episodes from the first season including the pilot directed by Spike Lee (Inside Man, Do The Right Thing), as well as a behind-the-scenes “making of” featurette, commentary on select episodes, gag reel and 19 deleted scenes. The “Shark” Season One DVD will be available for the suggested retail price of $59.98 U.S. / $89.98 Canada.

Marketing Support:
Fox Home Entertainment will support the release of the “Shark” Season One DVD with a multifaceted marketing program tied to the network launch of Season Two, including national broadcast, print, radio and online campaigns, along with CBS promotional spots and an extensive publicity campaign.

Synopsis:
Winning is the only thing that matters, and winning is what he does. Cutthroat defense attorney Sebastian Stark (Woods) has made a career out of bending the rules, manipulating the system, humiliating prosecutors, and getting ruthless criminals off the hook.
