Did this just fall off Fox's radar or what? I know season 9 was released in December last year, but the first quarter of 2007 is over and we haven't heard anything about season 10. This should be the one with the Bart head packaging.

It probably won't be out until July or August, to coincide with the movie. We didn't have any news on season 8 until mid-May last year.

Yeah - it's certainly likely that the focus on the movie slowed down the DVD production end.

Since the releases have been in August and December for the last couple of years, they're actually going to be speeding it up when they release S10 in July.

I'm sure season 10 will be released in time to coincide with the movie (July 27).

That artwork has been on Amazon for awhile (at least 2 months). It's not legit artwork; we all know season 10 is the Bart head, and the alternate art will look similar to the artwork that's been produced for all the other sets. I don't understand why Amazon allows people to post consumer images for sets that haven't been released; you just end up seeing fake fan art, which gets other fans all excited.

actually, I was at Borders yesterday and noticed they had "Simpsons: Season 10: June (something)" on their upcoming DVD list at checkout. Who knows where they got that date from

I don't understand why people get so uptight about this when they've been following the same release schedule for about 3 years now. One release in June and one in December. There's no need to get all nervous and worry that they will deviate from this schedule when an announcement isn't made for a long time after a release. Have faith, the pattern will continue, regardless of the movie.*











* Not that it matters since nothing after Season 8 is worth owning anyways.
