I've been counting on getting the slim packaging. I'm rapidly running out of room with my DVD collection and my SG-1 sets take up more room than any other DVD set I can think of. Is there something we can do to show that we would indeed purchase slim packaging if it were made available? Someone we should write to? Call?

That would be fine too. I just need to get rid of 40 keep cases that hold seasons 1-8. It drives me crazy that with the slim packaging the entire collection would take up about as much room as two of the previously released seasons...
Movies I would purchase instantly if they were available in their correct aspect ratio:
Death Trap, Innocent Blood, The Shadow, and Remo Williams

Let's just say that when Circuit City had Seasons 1-8 on sale for $19.99 each just a few months ago I purchased all eight seasons ... just need to pick up season 9 ... ehehe ...

Now that's one quick release. Thanks Fox/MGM! Now to speculate on the color; I'm hoping for black, or maybe a Stargate-metal gray.

Excellent news!!! Didn't expect Season 10 this quickly.....I've been waiting for this one ever since watching that Season 9 cliffhanger on DVD several months back. Glad to hear that I won't have to wait until practically winter to watch the conclusion. Way to go MGM! (I would say kudos to Fox too, but I'm still smartin' from their WKRP debacle).

You said it. I don't get why they've never had deleted scenes on the DVDs of earlier seasons, especially when there's a big bunch of them up at SciFi's official website. |
