Any word yet on Jake 2.0?

Thanks to the Sci-Fi Channel, I was finally able to see the final four episodes of "Jake 2.0" last night. I'm hoping we'll see a complete DVD release soon (hopefully with the original music intact and extras).

This is another one of those shows I didn't get a chance to watch. I completely forgot about it until I saw this thread. I'd love to see this released just to check this out.

I would love to get this series too. I didn't even realize that Sci-Fi was showing it!

Re: Any word yet on Jake 2.0?

I also recorded the last 4 episodes to transfer to dvd. I also plan on recording Special Unit 2 starting next week. I have the original airings, but I had taped them at slp on vhs. And the quality is eh! My only concern with Scifi showings. Is that I am sure they cut a few minutes for more commercial time.

Bring back John Doe! Or at least resolve the cliff-hanger with a 2hr movie or as an extra on a dvd release.

What happened in the last 4 episodes for Jake in regards to the two girls? Did he end up with the agency girl or his highschool sweetheart?

Spoiler:
Sarah, Jake's high school sweetheart, was not in the final four episodes and was written out of the series in a previous episode. The series itself ends in a cliffhanger.

The relationship between Jake and Diane were left open and it looks like they would end up together according to former "Jake 2.0" writer Javier Grillo-Marxuach's "outline" of the series finale.

Great way to end the series!

Maybe someone here can help. In the pilot for Jake 2.0. Their is a song played in the scene where he is finding out about his newfound strength (ie-pull-ups in his apartment.). Does anyone know the name of the song used?
