Beastmaster TV Series

These things are selling for big $$ on Ebay and various sites, you'd think ADV would see the interest.

Ah well, I emailed them about a possible repressing and this was there response:

Hello,

There are no plans at this time to reprint copies of the Beastmaster TV
series. Hopefully this is something that will be done in the future.
Please continue to check our website as new information will be posted
there first.

Thank you,

Re: Beastmaster TV Series

Yeah, I just picked up all three seasons on eBay a couple weeks ago. I didn't get into the series until last year when I first caught it on SciFi. As a Marjean Holden fan as well as loving shows with a sword 'n' sorcery theme, I got really hooked. I couldn't find the season sets at BB, CC or anywhere else, so I started looking at eBay. You can get the first and sometimes the second set for relatively good deals, but I could never catch a good deal on season 3. I finally saw an auction for all three used. It was a good chunk of change, but it was better than what I had seen in the past and I was tired of waiting. I got the sets in last week and they are in perfect condition. I'm really happy with them and am enjoying watching Beastmaster as I can. Good luck to anyone wanting to get this series, I think it's worth it.

I first got to see this show on some cable channel that I forget now, when my brother recommended the series to me. I never got to see all the episodes aired... but I was lucky enough to get all 3 seasons fairly cheap at DDD... think I paid between $17 and $20 per set. I really enjoyed the whole run of the series.

I watched it when it first aired in syndication, I was thinking about picking it up, but now it doesnt seem to be around anymore...oh well. I'm not paying the outrageous ebay/half.com/amazon marketplace prices.

Hard to believe they are selling for such high prices. At one point they were selling for ~$9 per season.

I wouldn't really waste my time with it. I watched all 3 seasons and it kind of sucks anyways.

I watched it when it first aired, and I liked it. But I don't really remember that much...I preferred The Lost World which aired just after it here.
