Joan of Arcadia? Still Coming?

Is Joan of Arcadia Season 2 still coming to dvd? Seems like CBS is releasing every one of there shows on dvd, but I still haven't heard much about the supposed release of Joan in September....

Yeah, me too. Hopefully an audio commentary with the cast and show creator appears on the final episode.

I would love a commentary on the final episode as well. I would like to know what they had in store for the next season before they got canceled.

Yes I would love that too! I'd also like to see a special interview/bonus feature with the creator letting us know how she would have ended the series differently had she gotten the chance... That's why I hope they release this set on dvd... I mean we need closure!!

My mom, for some reason, loved this show. She'll undoubtedly be pleased to hear of the second season set this fall.

It's no shocker, though, that the Joan of Arcadia chick fucked the show by eating donut ice cream for three years straight.

Though she was kind of hot in The Ring.

It's amazing how a healthy weight "fucks a show" now. Part of the appeal of Joan for me is that she looks like the kind of high school/college girls you really see out there, not a supermodel.

Hopefully this season won't be butchered on DVD. I still refuse to buy Season One because the most of the episodes don't have the credits sequence and much of the music is replaced. If the episodes are as aired, then everything else is gravy.

They can't afford to license the theme song for every episode, so it'll likely be the same as season 1. I thought it was a good way to handle the "we have to change the theme song" problem since they're not substituting a new theme that would have the viewers upset, they're just omitting the proper one.

I can't wait to complete my collection!

the theme cut from most episodes of season 1 didn't bother me at all... it is better then a replaced theme... I would much rather have the correct theme once per disc then to have the theme replaced by another song... or no theme at all.

Me too. I would much rather have the theme song intact once per disc than see the companies trying to rip us off with a replaced theme song. Paramount gets brownie points for that.
Gord- is there any word on bonus features yet? Specifically audio commentaries.
