Is there a possibility that The Addams Family will be released on DVD?

Season one was meant to be released here in the UK last year, but suddenly got pulled from the schedule. Are there any issues that might be holding this one up??

Does anyone know if the animated series from the early 90's will ever be available on DVD? I know it's on Laserdisc in 2 seperate volumes, but I can't find it... and I really really want to purchase it.
