4400 Season 2 in May!

www.davisdvd.com is reporting 4400 S2 on May 23! Four disc set, they even have artwork. I know I'm looking forward to this. Great second season.

I'm wondering though, only 13 episodes on 4 discs? Doesn't that seem like too many discs? I dunno...

Matt

Looking forward to it too.

Disc count sounds about right... especially if they give us a few extras... most shows has 4 episodes per disc... so 3 discs would be 12 episodes... 1 episode on disc 4 plus hopefully a few extras.

Didn't see any artwork on the page though.

It's under "Large Covers".

Disney/Buena Vista/Miramax: Please put Beautiful Girls on Blu-ray with bonus features and the original theatrical trailer in 1080p, and an anamorphic re-release with bonus features and the original theatrical trailer day-and-date on DVD. Thanks!

A massive letter-writing campaign to ABC is being timed each Thursday. October Road co-creator/Beautiful Girls screenwriter Scott Rosenberg has recently told fans on the ABC.com message board to "fight on." Got drumsticks? We're targeting for them to arrive on Monday, December 15th. Please help in the fight to bring his Beautiful Girls spin-off, October Road, back to the airwaves.

Right, after posting I realized 4 discs sounds about right. I can't wait for this. I actually enjoyed it more than the first season. They really did a good job of transitioning from a mini series to season show...

Speaking of which... I haven't heard anything lately... shouldn't we be seeing a season 3 sometime before to long?

As for the season 2 DVDs... coming out right before my Birthday... wonder if I will get lucky and get them for free!

But I do hope they through in some extras this time.

Season 3 will start sometime this summer. Production will start in 2006. There will be 13 new episodes. That is all it says on the official site. That is a big break between season 2 and 3. It could be a problem for the ratings.

Since no one has mentioned this...

Did you see the CBS logo on the side? I got pretty excited when I saw it; Paramount rarely puts extras on their non-ST releases, while CBS is pretty good at including extras on their sets. I'm crossing my fingers...

Dwayne...
Thanks for the heads up on Serason 3! That is a long break between seasons! Hopefully it won't hurt the ratings to bad.

Gord...
I for one didn't notice that logo! I sure hope that is a good thing! I would love to see something like profiles of some of the characters... showing the powers they have and such. I think that would be a fairly cheap and easy extra to do. Of course I would also like to see the good stuff like commentaries, deleted scenes and blooper reels too! :p) But of course I'm not getting my hopes up.

Can't wait to check it out!

I hope they include all of the commercials they aired to promote the show. All were unique and were not part of the show. Most of them had the young clairvoyant girl in them.

I remember those commercials... I would love for them to include them all!... My favorite one was when she was walking through the doctor's office and was saying what all the pregnant women was going to have. :p)

That was my favorite one also. I guess I will buy the 2nd season set when it comes out and watch it with season 1. It has been so long since I have seen the show. That way I will have all the episodes fresh in my mind for the new season. By the way. The 13 episodes for the new season seems kind of a small number. You would think that after 2 seasons they could make a 22 or 24 episode season.
