I was in Best Buy today and having learned about their special from this forum, decided to take advantage of their sale. It applies only to certain TV series titles on the SONY PICTURES label.

I purchased The Outer Limits (new series' first season) and the 6th season of Sanford & Son. It's supposed to be that you get the second box set for FREE providing it's the same or of lesser value. Outer Limits they sell for $48 and Sanford and Son for $25.

Well, I knew that taking my 2 sets to the cashier. She knew it too, but since I purposely asked her to scan Sanford first so I could get the more expensive set for free, when she did it allowed her to charge me for the cheaper set! So I bought $76 worth of merchandise for 1/3 the price.

Sometimes you just have to work the system to get a good deal.

Actually I would say leave it. I almost never go to the deals page, but I *do* swing by here on a regular basis. If not for the first locked thread, I'd probably never have noticed it.

And it's cool to see that my experiance of getting the most expensive set for free wasnt a fluke. So give 'em the cheapest sets first, folks!
