I haven't picked this up yet (I plan on doing it this month) but I was wondering if there have been any problems with the double-sided discs in this set?

Ditto. Been thru the complete set, no issues.

No issues yet with a dual sided disc on my new Sony player.

Well I picked it up this morning so hopefully no problems. No scratched discs anyway so atleast thats something.
