Deadwood pricing

hi,

HBO R1 charges US$99.
Paramount R4 charges AU$62 or US$47.

Rip-off in the US?

Circuit City by me has it for $89 and Ive seen it at BJs for $79(same as what they have the Star Trek seasons sets for)

The R4 version has no extras. However, I've seen it for as cheap as AU$35.

Unfortunately HBO has misread the elasticiy of demand - they would have sold many more copies, including one to me, if they had not set such an exorbitant price.

Well, whatever their reasoning, here's another sale they've lost because Deadwood is just too expensive. I'll wait a few more months and buy a used set instead. Sorry HBO.

Also, shouldn't this thread be in the HT Software - TV Shows forum?
