DuckTales & Chip N Dale Officially Coming!!

This is awesome news!!! Not only is DuckTales coming but Chip & Dale as well! It's great that Disney is jumping on the bandwagon more.

August 11, 2005 - Now this is exciting news! Disney has just announced that they will release 3-disc box sets of late '80s/early '90s animated television series "DuckTales" and "Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers" on November 8th! The few details available now have just been posted in a DVD Fact Sheet. The sets (which will each carry a $34.99 SRP) will mark only the second time a Disney TV cartoon has come to DVD in multi-disc format. We'll have more on these as soon as it comes in.

Wonderi f these will be Best Of's or Volumes in Chronological Order. Probably the Former.

What I'd REALLY like for disney to do is put out DVDs for Raw Toonage (You could get the Complete series of that show in one set. It's somewhat of a Cult Hit), or Bonkers.

I'm betting it will be Season 1 Vol. 1 thing. Just a guess though.

How many episodes are usually on their disks?

I almost completely forgot about Darkwing Duck. Now, THAT's a Disney cartoon show that needs a DVD release.

Now THIS is exciting news!!!

I also hope these will be in chronologiucal broadcast order and not compilation style, especially for Ducktales based on the continuity & progression of the series!

I can't wait for both of these, it's about damn time!!!

Disney animated afternoon blocks have been among my most wanted TV releases EVER... FINALLY!!!

I came directly to HTF after reading this on UD.

Here are the links to the info:

Hopefully these sets will be something like the WB is doing with the Batman Toons where they split up the series in volumes, b/c the # of episodes per season is so erratic.

Yes, these are definite buys, if indeed they are chronological, as WB's Batman sets are (which have been some of the most successful cartoon DVDs for WB, I've read).

Well, as usual, if the episodes are uncut, I'm good for a copy.

Now how about the Gummi Bears...

Nice.
I'll be getting Ducktales sets if they're done right.
but I still want Gummi Bears, Darkwing Duck, The Tick, all of the Saban/Marvel shows and probably a few more.
